Daydream outside the canon

It’s been over two years since the last time I posted here and I’ve been wanting to drop by for a couple of months now with no luck, just in case anyone who cares is still around here.

As you may remember, I had a brain aneurysm in 2019 and I permanently lost sight in one eye. Just as I was learning to cope with that, the pandemic hit, and I guess I don’t have to tell you how that one went.

My mental health went from bad to worse in those three years, and just when 2022 begun, and I was starting to feel a bit confident again to do something for me and to reach a better place in life, my dad had a heart attack and died right in front of me.

You can imagine how difficult 2022 was for me. No job, just a small income from my mother’s pension in a country that had 100% inflation in a year.

I won’t get into too much detail. I just wanted to make one last post letting anyone who is still around know. I’m not coming back to Tumblr. I have no resources, no time (because I have to care for my mother 24/7), no job, no money, and most “friends” just disappeared. Anyway, all this sh*storm showed me who my real friends are.

So sorry to end in such a low note, but I have zero energy to fake that life isn’t a big pile of poo right now.

I hope you guys are having a blast, and it’s been a real pleasure knowing and sharing time with y'all.

can we talk about how literally 64% of people wear glasses, and yet we NEVER see them in movies/tv unless it’s on some nerdy or uncool character? why do we adhere to such a weird beauty standard that subconsciously makes us feel bad for,, not being able to see???

I’m here just for 5 minutes like usual because I wanted to check on a friend.

But man, 5 minutes and I’m more certain than ever than not bothering is the wisest decision ever.

I may not be as active on here as I used to be, but those of you who have followed me for years know how big of a da Costa fan I am and have been for a long time.

Antonio winning the Formula E championship is something I barely ever dared to dream of and yet here we are!!!

There were many tough races and seasons for him. He talked about how much he struggled at times but he never ever gave up. I can’t believe he really won the title, let alone clinching it early and in style 🤗

Call me an elitist or whatever but I really understand the irritation some seasoned fans feel towards the new fans(!) when they know absolutely nothing about the past 10 years of the sports and of the characters of the drivers yet go on to the social media and spew their BS bullshit and fanatical hate and prejudice about some drivers and their current situation on the grid.

You know nothing, but you all have opinions which are 95% wrong and solely stemming from your causeless hate, but you act like you are an expert. When people don’t know things they just try to learn and not pull theories out of their asses.

Thanks to you, some new fans are also targeted by the backlash your uninformed and biased opinions create.
